This certification will allow you to fly at all times, even in poor meteorological conditions, in fog or clouds. We’ll teach you to control a plane using only its instruments, without seeing the ground or natural horizon. We use mostly airports in Vodochody, Karlovy Vary, Ostrava, and Brno to practice instrument-guided approach but the course also involves flights abroad (primarily to the airports in Dresden, Leipzig, Wroclaw, or Hof). We fly a Piper Seneca III (PA34-220T), turning off one engine entirely and employing feather. This provides the pilot with maximum experience. The plane is able to easily climb with one engine only.
